JG MUSICAL: The 14 year old virgin
Hello!
Tonight, we have a special edition of BGR psych!
-CLAPS-
Alright! This will not offend anyone so please read!
All thanks goes to the Joshua Generation which is the youth ministry of my church!
To start off here's the sypnosis which I am gonna type out:
Andy and Kylie were positive, carefree 17-year old teenagers with strong convictions about waiting for their Mr and Mrs Right for as long as they had to, until they came face to face with the Society's Darwinist outlook on love- that it is nothing more than a game of survival of the fittest - which threatened to erode their beliefs on what the true meaning of a relationship should be.
The musical brings you two individuals, two different lives smacked under the same pressures and temptations. Sit tight as you journey with Andy, Kylie and their friends through their experiences with love- the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and how it makes them and breaks them.
End Sypnosis
Honestly I can't tell you the entire musical- Sucks for you! -But as the sypnosis states, it shows the different experiences teenagers face in their love life. So no examples... But I can tell you my version of the moral of the musical -sounds neat- which is probably their moral as well.
Moral of the Musical:
There are tons of opinions which teenagers consider ideal for their love life. Teenagers consider BGR in high hopes of finding their Mr and Mrs Right. Some relationships are taken seriously, and some are not. It's difficult to find a successful relationship which lasts through Secondary school, through Poly/JC, and through Army/University to the finalization of a perfect love life.
Some say BGR is a means of experience that will prepare you. But must you hurt yourself?
Some say BGR has to be sparked by your personal intentions. Or does it come to you?
Some say BGR is cool and must be under taken at least once in one's young life. O rly?
Some say BGR is unnecesary and must only begin after the education, and army- Like Me ;p - Doesn't it get harder the longer you wait?
The right way to say BGR is that it must be sparked by fate- by God.
What's waiting for a while to bump into your true love, compared to leading a healthy relationship for eternity! Let God or fate- whichever you may address- be your cupid, and pray that his arrow will fly straight and true unto you!
From the chorus of the AWESOME song for the musical's finale:
Hold up, there's no need to rush now
Slow down, you'll get there somehow
Don't hurry to find that special person
You never know, maybe he's/she's the one!
Don't frown, put on a smile now
Look out, there's so much more worthwhile
There's so much more this life can do
Having friends like me and you!
End chorus
I said don't frown! I know you frowned! It doesn't talk about merely friendship- which should be enjoyed and not foresaken, or interpreted hastily that your best boy/girl friend is going to be the one- It says don't rush it! Leave the arrow of love to God! He know's what is best for you so let it be! Be patient! You'll know who will be the one! Love can't be explained- It is felt! Poems, stories, anything describing love only reveals a tiny portion of it! You'll know when God nudges you saying "Hey, she's/he's the one! Go for it!"
Now for those who do not believe in God or the same one as me, you take this as blasphemy, and that I am preaching through my blog. Well maybe I am! Whatever you believe in, whether be it UFO's, Buddha, Allah, fate, take your time, they will tell you who is the one.
God loves you, and he would love to see you through and guide you to a happy love life.
God bless you :D
