Inspiration is the base of all great stories

Hey guys,

MY day has been quite perfect. Remember the Dark-Light story i added to this blog? It won't work so I'm actually creating the entire story now. With the help of inevitable daydreaming and brainstorming when I sleep, I now managed to do 32 pages for 4 chapters of 9000+ words. Amazing! Cuz i also had my prelim 2 which is the second last battle before I move on to the final boss battle( O lvl). I'm hoping for better results. I failed my chinese O level by the way so I'm undoubtedly retaking the paper. Unbelievably ridiculous! Two words to describe me.

You know I've always had this dream of being a game developer, so I've actually put the thought of having gameplay in my Dark-Light story. But for gameplay, I need characters. So far I've drawn the upper part of Light's body ( Yi Wei mentioned I'm a sicko when I told him I drew her upper part of the body but wouldn't I be worse if I drew only Light's lower body? I MEAN C'MON!). Light seemed pretty but I've recieved a lot of criticisim bout her eyes, arms, shoulders, hair, and lastly her cleavage. At least it was my most successfully genuine drawing of a human character. I practised drawing her head with different emotions today. Practice makes perfect especially if I wanna be a game developer. Yeah!

Check out the latest of Digital Ph33r's productions. Another thing I watch on youtube is Sponny productions. Just type that down and watch said videos, you'll be rolling on the floor laughing in a few minutes or seconds. He states the ridiculous reality of various games including Final Fantasy 7, the thing, zombie samurai thingy, and so on. So don't miss it.

Another thing about Dark-Light, I need to think of a song. Can't really think of a good one cuz it'll be a first:p. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I'm trying to keep my game away from Spoony's stupid list of ridiculous games. Meanwhile, here's Dark-Light's introduction:

The Dark & the Light have been enemies for ages on end. They are like twin rivals who are opposite but similar in a little way. As usual, opposites don’t attract and they grow to despise each other. Such is their wrath that forces a world to intervene and stop the feud. That world acts as a “wall” which prevents either side from attacking directly. But alas, no wall can contain their might and it is slowly destroyed by either side. They claw at the world just to break an opening big enough for a full waged war. It is such a tragedy for such a beautiful world to be destroyed for trying to contain a war so massive and destructive. It seems nothing will prevent history from repeating itself.

It's okay it's alright! 4A! 4A! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Congratulations to all the 4A Bossa Ball players! Unexpectedly, you've won the game! Haha you sure sowed the others what 4A is made of! And of course thank you 4B for standing by 4A's side to cheer 4A on with coordinated cheers other than messy shouts. I am grateful for your help. We would love to have played with you guys. Actually, after this amazing win, I've decided to let the class play chapteh so long as they can manage their time properly. It seems chapteh and Bossa Ball has brought 4A together much closer. Take Jun Wei for example, now he's much more talkative than in Sec 3! 4A, I advise that you guys don't play too much chapteh as your O's are about 2 months away and Mr Soh is felling extremely worried for you guys so it's time to beat the O's now instead of beating Bossa Ball.

We had a class BBQ last night. It seemed well at first until the drunk squad just had to spoil the fun. I mean what actually sparked the fight between Jian Lin and Joel. Man! I knew this was gonna happen. That's why I didn't want to come in the first place. To hide what stuff you guy's have been doing I'm just going to tell you guys to cut down on those things you're not supposed to do. Especially if it's going to be our LAST class chalet, I don't want any thing going wrong on the LAST class outing. If another thing like that happens again on our LAST class outing, I'm going to walk out.

For the Dark-Light story on this blog, don't follow it. I'm making a full story now, I'm making a draft where I can link everything I want all together. I want to make this story about as good as Kingdom Hearts. So wish me all the brainstorming power I need. Don't forget O level ownage power. I need it for my O's. I must study but I get distracted like right now. Escpecially because the Olypics has started now and I wanna watch so I'll end this post here with pictures of various Keyblades and a scythe I found on the net. BYE!

Dark-Light

Firstly, Dark-Light, sound a bit familiar? Its the improved version of shadow-light since I posted a reminder that I would work more on it's storyline and characterisation. So far I've thought up of short summaries for the series. After looking at the game "Kingdom Hearts", I'm truly fascinated by the addictive storyline and graphics. Kingdom Hearts is an ideal game to inspire me on the concept of Dark-Light. It'll be a usual clash between darkness and light. So when brainstorming I always think about how to compile the story of Dark-Light into a game. I haven't thought of the characters' name.

Brainstorm results:

The story starts with the life of a man who isn't one bit bad and leads a good life. He has a fiance that he would marry soon. But 2 week before the marriage, he gets caught up with bad company as he is losing money and needs to support his future family. He gets into trouble in the company and is killed by his own collegues on the day of his marriage.
An angel talks to him(his soul), telling him that he is dead, and telling him that he has been chosen to take on the evil in his world. He is granted the powers of darkness to take on the numerous enemies he will encounter. He is reminded that 10 years has passed.
He wakes up and finds himself in a church cemetery surrounded by large and tall buildings. Certain of the objective of his mission but he doesen't remember anything from when he was alive, he prowls the large citiy searching for evil souls that he will take. He uses a sycthe and assorted weapons that he summons through darkness with dark bullets that he can also summon. He reaps their soul and their body will remain an empty shell.
While he was gone, an organization that prevents paranormal situations that has ocured many times since the main character's death. They read the large pulse of paranormal energy from where the character woken up from, they track and monitor his progress as he is something they have never handled before.
He comes across his late fiance who he had to kill. After struggling to prevent her death from the numerous monstosities the angel had sent after him for failing, he tells her what had happened then sending her somewhere safe. He has to stay away from her to prevent himself from killing her.
On another night, he meets his collegue who killed him. His collegue created a gateway allowing dark monsters through into the world so that the organization has a purpose, hence earning a lot of money. He remembers him and escapes with the help of the organization. He is determined to have his revenge on his collegue and chases after him. After battling countless enemies, he is defeated and captured.
In the organization HQ he is kept in a secure containment cell and the organization's leader communicates with him, asking what is his purpose then telling him that he has a choice to stop killing. He finds a way to escape and sets out to destroy his collegue from opening the realm of darkness......

So far this is what I produced. I'm still thinking so expect more about Dark-Light from my blog see you :)
